Retirement of Dr Lynette Albertyn
It is with mixed emotions that we announce the retirement of Dr Lynette Albertyn, our esteemed associate dentist and valued team member.
Lynette delivered exceptional quality of care to her patients and practiced with integrity and compassion. She had an unwavering drive and commitment to her work. She was also a much-loved team member, and we will dearly miss her humour, passion and energy; qualities which her patients also enjoyed.
With our sadness however comes much happiness with what the future holds for her. We wish her all the very best for her next stage of life and hope it is filled with adventure, cherished family time and above all long lasting good health.
Lynette now confidently passes on the care of her valued patients to Dr Emily Loh who has stepped into Lynette’s position and who many of you may have already had the pleasure of meeting. Emily has quickly ascended to a highly respected and much-loved clinician in the 2 years that she has been with us now.
We are so incredibly grateful and honoured for Lynette’s over 14 years of service to Hampton Beach Dentists, and we understand how difficult a decision this was for her. We thank you all for your patience and support while Lynette navigated a difficult journey this year, which ultimately influenced her decision to retire.
Message from Lynette
I hope this message finds you in good health. I am writing to share some important news regarding my journey and practice.
After careful consideration, I have made the difficult decision to retire from dental practice. This decision comes following my cancer diagnosis earlier this year, which has prompted me to focus on my health and well-being during this challenging time. It is not an easy choice to step away from a profession I have cherished for so many years. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to each of you for trusting me with your dental care. Your loyalty and support have meant the world to me. We have built connections that span beyond just our clinical interaction and that I will truly miss.
Rikki and Jo, thank you for the opportunity to be part of the HBD team. It has been an honour and privilege. To the rest of the staff, thank you girls for the hard work but above all the fun and daily laughs we had.
I wish you all continued health and happiness. Keep on flossing.
Kind regards
